June 30, 2022 at 2:20 PM: A grass fire has been reported on Wade Lane in the Camanche Reservoir area.

June 29, 2022 at 3 PM: A vehicle has rolled over into a gully and one person is pinned inside.
Emergency vehicles are responding. Major injuries have been indicated.
Rice's Fire in Nevada County
June 29, 2022 at 9 AM: The Rices Fire was started June 28, 2022 around 3 PM by a house fire that escaped into the forest. It has destroyed four structures so far.
796 acres have burned and it is 0% contained. Calfire is concerned about it crossing the Yuba River.

June 27, 2022 at 1:55 PM: A head-on collision has been reported on Hwy 49 at Big Bar Road near the river.
Emergency vehicles are responding to the scene. Traffic is stopped in both directions. There is an injury with one person pinned in.
Fireworks prohibited in Ebbetts Pass
Although Calaveras Supervisors have been allowing dangerous fireworks to be sold in Calaveras County, they are NOT legal in Ebbetts Pass.

June 26, 2022 at 10:10 AM: Power lines are reportedly down in the trees on Moran Road at Calaveritas Drive in Arnold.
PG&E has been notified. Avoid the area if possible until cleared.

Hwy 4 traffic delays
Caltrans is starting work on the Hwy 4 Wagon Trail realignment and it will be necessary to have intermittent traffic delays for equipment.
Be extra cautious on this stretch of Hwy 4 between Copperopolis and Angels Camp as it will be under construction for quite some time.
