June 23, 2022 at 11:50 AM: We just heard on the scanner that the Oak Fire near Mariposa is now 9100 acres in size with 0% containment. Is California
going to burn until it's a high desert?There is talk that this fire could become a mega fire! Certainly hope not. The Detwiler Fire in this area burned 70,000 acres before it was extinguished.

Dixie Fire last year was 1 million acres - pray this will not be close to that.
