Fire in Calaveritas

    UPDATE at 3:50 PM:  CHP is being released. Roads are

open. Forward progress on the fire is stopped.

UPDATE at 2:55pm:  Traffic is being shut down on Calaveritas Road.  Approximately
5 acres in size at this time. No structures immediately threatened.

August 17, 2022 at 2:50 PM:  A grass fire has been reported on Calaveritas Road at Old Gulch Road.  Sound familiar.

   Several engines and air support are responding to the area.
