As of 2 PM on September 9, 2022 the Mosquito Fire is 29,585 acres and growing. It is still at 0% containment.
Mandatory evacuations are expanding. There is still no count on the number of homes destroyed.
The growth is finally slowing per heat maps. Hopefully they will have some containment numbers to report tonight.
