Attack with machete?

    According to Calaveras Sheriff reports on December 22, 2022 around 7:45 PM deputies arrested

Paul Richard Maddox (58) at a building in the 2100 block of Hwy 4 in Arnold.

   Maddox was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for allegedly Threatening a crime with intent to terrorize, Arson of an inhabited structure, First degree burglary and Vandalism, all felonies and for Aggravated battery on a person, a misdemeanor.

   Reports from sources indicate that a machete of some type was allegedly used during this incident.
