DUI arrest after collision

    Per CHP on December 23, 2022 Emily Anderson (40) of Wilseyville was driving a 1995

Jeep Cherokee on Winton Road in West Point at an unknown speed.

  Sandra Rowe (53) of Pioneer was driving a 2008 Cadillac in the opposite direction when Anderson travelled into Rowe's lane, causing a head-on collision.

   Both vehicles overturned onto their sides. Anderson had to be extricated from the Jeep and was transported to Sutter Amador Hospital with moderate injuries.

   Rowe was able to extricate herself and refused an ambulance. 

   Anderson was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
