March 30, 2023 at 2:45 PM: A cattle truck has reportedly jacknifed at Hwy 4 and Poole Station Road below Angels Camp.
Some wheels are apparently off the ground. No word yet about the cattle. There was a collision with another vehicle. No injuries have been indicated.
The NY Grand Jury investigating Trump regarding the hush money he allegedly paid Stormy Daniels, has voted to indict him.
Whether he will actually be arrested is not yet known. This is the first time in our history that a former President has been indicted for a crime.
As of March 30, 2023 Bear Valley has received 667 inches or 55.5 ' of snow for the season.
That's two more feet since they broke their record a week ago. WOW! And today is expected to be a super day for skiing and boarding.
At around 1:30 PM on Tuesday afternoon CCWD sent out an email to the press cancelling last nights town hall meeting.
The meeting had been scheduled for 5:30 PM at the Ebbetts Pass Fire Station. No mention was made of when it will be rescheduled.
March 29, 2023 at 8 AM: Caltrans is now requiring chains on Hwy 4 in Arnold.
The weather service recommends avoiding travel until this storm is over. Be very cautious if out on the roadways.
March 28, 2023 at 12:15 PM: PG&E wires are down on Hwy 49 in Carson Hill.
Apparently a transit bus got caught by their antenna in the wires. PG&E is responding to the scene. Be extra cautious until the roadway can be cleared.
On Saturday April 1, 2023 there is a bicycle tour being held at Pardee. Both a 100K and a 50K tour event is bing held.

March 22, 2023 at 4:25 PM: A car has reportedly hit an embankment on Reeds Turnpike at Town Square in Copperopolis.
It is not blocking the roadway. Injuries are minor.
March 22, 2023 at 2:40 PM: A collision has been reported on Copper Cove Drive near Little John Road in Copperopolis.
The reporting party apparently said that the car in teetering into a ditch and that there are bottles of alcohol in the vehicle. An ambulance is responding.
It will be held at Frogton. Admission is $5 with kids under 12 free with an adult. There will be shuttle service from the parking lot to Mark Twain Hall. Saturday the time will be 10 - 5PM and Sunday it will be open 10 - 4PM.
