Because of the presence of the pollutant hydrogen sulfide, Angels Creek is closed to the public.
When it tests clear, the city and county will notify everyone that it is now safe to access.
The signs have been up for quite some time. I think it's time to take them down. Residents are already ignoring them and swimming anyways.
