After burn permits were suspended for 2023 yesterday, a giant plume of smoke rose above
Big Trees State Park.CalFire is still trusted to destroy our forest, which is so sad. When will the state wise up and realize that ALL burning is bad for the trees we are trying so hard to protect.
Where are the environmentalists who should be screaming and yelling to STOP the destruction?
It appears that even our elected officials are believing the phone right wing rhetoric that fire is a good thing for the giant sequoias and other forest woodlands,
They sent more trucks up to assist with the fire and this morning the thick smoke is smothering Arnold. What a joy!!!
