Man run over and struck by boat propeller

    According to the Calaveras Sheriff, on June 30, 2023 around 10 PM they responded to a call

for an injured party in a boating accident at the Glory Hole Marina, Melones Reservoir.

   Apparently while attempting to dock his boat with another houseboat, a 35 year old Murphys resident fell overboard and was subsequently run over by his boat.

    He was struck by the propeller and suffered severe injuries. He was flown to a valley hospital for treatment. An investigation is underway.
