September 30, 2023: The House of Representatives just passed a 45 day extension to keep
the government open before midnight tonight.

Apparently it includes a raise for each member of the House it the 71 page Republican proposal. The Democrats crossed over and voted for it because the hardline MAGA voted NO.
Now it goes to the Senate for approval and then President Biden's desk.
