Boating injury at Camanche

    On June 10, 2024 around 1 PM deputies were dispatched to a report of a boating

accident on Lake Camanche near the Moccasin Campground.

   A person being towed got the rope wrapped around his arm and was sucked into the bottom of the boat through the jet propulsion system.

  A deputy jumped into the water and cut the rope, freeing the injured person, who was taken to a waiting ambulance.
