Hikers rescued at Natural Bridges

    On July 2, 2024 aroun 6:55 PM search and rescue were called to assist some hikers

at Natural Bridges in Vallecito.

   The had become disoriented and suffered dehydration while returning to the trail. After rescuers gave the hikers water, they were able to walk out of the canyon.

   In extreme heat, hikers need to realize that they will be exposed to difficult conditions.
