At the August 27, 2024 Calaveras Supervisors meeting, a report on the Wagon Trail project is on the agenda.
The Highway 4 improvement project between Copperopolis and Angels Camp has been laden with problems and not much work is being done currently.

They still javen't paid the land owner for the ground they took. You can't take ground on eminant domain either, go look up the cases on that. So, took hround, no payment to landowner, AND no archeological work THOROUGHLY done. They keep finding ancient toad blocks. Shut the project dn already and people just need to drive slow, this ain't the g** damn bay area.
