UPDATE: One lane is now open to traffic.
UPDATE: Both vehicles are on fire and it is spreading into the grass and apparently
near a gas tank. Hwy 4 is closed. Major injuries are indicated.
September 13, 2024 at 7 AM: A head-on collision of two Subarus has been reported on Hwy 4 near Horseshoe Lane in Copperopolis.
An ambulance is responding to the scene.
