   December 29, 2024 at 8:45 AM:  A jeep has been reported as a rollover 8 times on Hwy 4 at Poole Station Road in Angels Camp.

   An ambulance is responding. The vehicle is around 30 feet off the roadway at this time.  

Bear Valley Ski Resort

   December 28, 2024 at 10:40 AM:  The crowd is growing up at Bear Valley this morning. Can't remember seeing so many at one time in a long while.

   The roads are clear and the weather is cloudy but dry, so enjoy the day.

Collision on Murphys Grade Road

    December 26, 2024 at 9 AM:  A collision has been reported on Murphys Grade Road at Canyon Drive outside Murphys.

   Injuries are indicated to be minor in this crash.  The roadway is blocked.

Overturned vehicle in Copperopolis

    December 22, 2024 at 9 AM:  A GMC Yukon has reportedly overturned on Obyrnes Ferry Road at the bridge in Copperopolis.

   No injuries have been indicated.  A tow truck is responding.

Black cow on Moran again....

    December 21, 2024 at 10:20 AM:  The usual black cow is out and in the middle of Moran Road again around Love Creek Road in Avery.

   Be extra cautious until CHP can get it back inside the fence.

Rollover on Hwy 4

    December 20, 2024 at 8:30 AM:  A rollover traffic collision has been reported on Hwy 4 at Boards Crossing in Dorrington.

   An SUV is down the embankment on its side. An ambulance and tow truck are responding to the scene.

Collision on Obyrnes Ferry Bridge

    December 18, 2024 at 7 AM:  A semi and a car have reportedly collided on the Obyrnes Ferry Bridge in Copperopolis and the roadway is blocked.

Deer struck by car in Arnold

    December 17, 2024 at 12:45 PM:  A deer that was reportedly struck by a vehicle on Hwy 4 at Meadowmont Way in Arnold is attempting to drag itself off the roadway.

    Drivers without warning whistles on the front bumpers and who drive way too fast to stop for the innocent animals have no excuse for causing them to suffer.

Chains required on Hwy 4

    Caltrans is requiring chains on vehicles without 4 wheel drive and snow tires at Cottage Springs on Hwy 4 this morning.

   It is not snowing, but the roads are extremely icy.

    December 14, 2024 at 9AM:  Trees are reportedly down on Kenshaw Way in Dorrington, Hwy 49 at Big Bar Rd in Mokelumne Hill, Easy Bird Way in Wilseyville, Russell and Moran in Arnold, Hwy 4 at Stallion in Angels Camp, Hwy 26 in Glencoe, Tapadero Street in Angels Camp, Fricot City Road in San Andreas and Ridge Road in Railroad Flat.

   Drive carefull and watch for hazards.

   December 11, 2024:  A winter storm bringing rain and snow to Calaveras County is expected to reach us by this evening.

   There could be snow below 5000'.  I'm sure that makes Bear Valley Ski Resort happy.

Amador County vehicle in crash

    December 11, 2024 at 9 AM:  An Amador County vehicle has reportedly been involved in a crash on Argonaut Drive in Jackson.

  No injuries have been indicated.

Overturned vehicle in Wallace

    December 11, 2024 at 8:05 AM:  An overturned vehicle has been reported on Hwy 12 at Petross Road in Wallace.

   An ambulance is responding to the scene. The roadway is blocked.

ATV crash in Rancho Calaveras

    December 10, 2024 at 4:10 PM:  An ATV has reportedly crashed on Stinson View Road in Rancho Calaveras.

   An air ambulance is responding to the scene.

Hay spilled on Hwy 88

    December 10, 2024 at 2:50 PM:  A semi pulling two trailers of hay crashed on Hwy 88 at Climax Road and there is hay all over the roadway.

   Caltrans has been requested to assist in clearing the roadway. No injuries have been indicated.

Fatal collision in Wilseyville

    December 8, 2024 at 8:45 AM:  A truck which is reportedly so damaged it is hard to identify, has crashed on Blue Mountain Road in Wilseyville.

   Unfortunately one person has not survived this crash. The coroner has been dispatched to the scene.

Vehicle into ditch

    December 5, 2024 at 2:15 PM:  A vehicle has reportedly run off Hwy 26 near Deardorff Road and into a ditch outside Glencoe.

   No injuries have been indicated in this crash.

    December 5, 2024 at 1:45 PM:  A head-on collision has been reported on Parrotts Ferry Road outside Columbia.
