Chains required on Hwy 4

    April 26, 2025:  Caltrans is requiring chains this morning on Hwy 4 at Camp Connell.

   Drive carefully if headed to the mountains.  It is snowing in Bear Valley but skiing is closed for the season.

Pope Francis dies...

    April 21, 2025:  After being ill for months, Pope Francis appeared on the balcony on Easter Sunday to wish everyone well.

   He apparently had a stroke and then heart failure early the next morning. He was 88 years old. Now the politics begin to select a new Pope.

Mass shooting in Florida

    April 17, 2025:  A man described as the son of a deputy sheriff, allegedly shot and killed 2 and injured 5 before being captured and arrested.

   The condition of the 5 is not known at this time. This shooting occured at Florida State University.

Trump orders tariff pause

    April 9, 2025 :  Trump has ordered a pause on most tariffs this morning.

   Now the market is up Dow 1600 points.

In case you didn't know....

   A TARIFF is a tax that we will have to pay.

DOW down another 2011 points

   and the NASDAQ was down nearly 1000.  What next? 

   What more damage can Trump do? Oh, he'll think of something!
